Fall in South Lake Tahoe

If you ask a dozen people what their favorite season in Lake Tahoe is you’ll get a dozen different variations of answers.  Many like Spring, others Summer, while some have Winter as their favorite, but a majority believe Fall is one of the best seasons!  Why?  The town quiets down after a busy summer, weather is normally nice and mild, activities can be done in solitude as tourist traffic slows down.  One can find specials on activities and meals as well.

Even though Lake Tahoe is mainly made up of deciduous trees and shrubs that don’t lose their color and leaves there is still a lot of opportunity for fall color. Aspen trees put on an excellent show of color every fall.

Our homes have excellent views during this special time of year.  The colors and solitude are a blessing so now is the time to book your Tahoe trip. Check out our Meadow Lake House and our Escape Cabin.
